Tour

The Southwest coast of Sri Lanka is simply about beaches. A 119KM journey from Colombo takes you to the beautiful city of Galle. Despite the hot climate, Galle is prominent for its gorgeous white sandy beaches and the beautiful Galle fort. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, the Galle Fort is a significant landmark in Southern Sri Lanka. On the southeast tip of the Fort stands the Galle lighthouse. The 18th Century Dutch reformed church and other notable buildings built during the Dutch and British rule are still well preserved. The southern express highway takes half the time to reach Galle, but it's totally up to you to decide the route.
